Reset ~ Work & Life

Sometimes, I feel that life is good.  Sometimes, I feel life is routine.  Sometimes, I feel life sucks.

I was reflecting that I feel tired more often nowadays.  It’s like another year has passed and I got ‘older’ and has less energy and feels the body aches more.

The comment from my friend is that … it’s because of society’s expectation.  Society ‘expect’ that as you ‘age’ (in terms of body clock) and this has somehow been inbuilt in my psyche and my body reacts accordingly.

OOOHHHH…. is this how it is??

That’s in general.  Of course there are those who are not within the bell curve (within the average) but they are few in counting.

I gotto admit.   It has been playing in the mind.  I am getting older.  So all these fatigue, less inclination to move around are all signs of age….. but with my friend pointing it out… I think I accelerated my body clock when I have those constant thought playing in my mind.

Yes, I can’t stop the body clock but I can slow it down … by having more positive thoughts on my body, mind and emotional health and take action on it.

For body health, it involves exercise, water intake and diet for which I am working on intermittent fasting.  To track my progress, I am using a habit tracking apps.  The first step is to track what I do.. next is to work on making it consistent.

Mind health – keeping the mind active, keeping it focus on my goals, repeating my goals and expanding as well as acting on business ideas.

For emotional health… being truthful helps a lot.  Being truthful ensures no pent-up emotion that can blow out of control at the most inappropriate time.

Overall is it about responding instead of reacting.  It helps tremendously to get things back on focus.  Accepting that it has happen.  There is a reason for it.  What can I do better.  What’s next(action).

The title is re-set – because it is about a reset in my mind and focus on what comes next in my personal life and work life.

Main thing… be grateful, be grateful to be alive to experience another day.
